Plato Papajohn  | Born in January 30, 1932 in the village of Oxilithos on the Greek island of Evia. He immigrated to the United States in 1948 and subsequently became a naturilized American citizen. The first immigrant in the history of America, to become naturilized under a year. He served in the United States Army in Europe during the Korean Conflict, and currently lives in Birmingham, Alabama. Papajohn holds a degree in electronics, a diploma from the New York Institute of Professional Photography, and a certificate in color photography from the University of Alabama in Birmingham Alabama. |
He has served as past Master and has achieved a 32nd Degree in the Ancient Scottish Rite of Free Masonary. He is also a Shriner.
Plato Papajohn has written three books. A memoir, Stairway To Heaven, about his heartbreaking experiences during wartime. He has received very favorable reviews on this first book. His second one Vicious Mind, a suspense thriller that takes place in the south. It is a captivating powerful family saga of love, loss and ultimate betrayal. The third book Avenger is a mystery about a southern police woman that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Currently he has just finished editing his fourth book The Unexpected a journey to a dramatic unpredictable love story. Papajohn and his wife reside in Birmingham, Alabama. |
